The school has been serving the Bursledon Community since 1967 and on the present site from 1972.

The school site, with its pleasant aspect, contributes much to the children's learning and our interesting and varied locality provides many opportunities for environmental studies.

We have generous grounds, which provide two large playing fields, two playgrounds  a quiet garden containing a small pond and a large woodland area.
